How to Access Parking During Main Street Unionville Road Closure

Updated: August 2025

Option 1 – Via Parkview Public School (from the South-West)

If you’re coming toward Main Street Unionville from the south-west:

  • Take Fred Varley Dr. Instead of turning directly onto Main Street Unionville, take the previous exit at Fonthill Blvd and drive through the parking lot at Parkview Public School (see green arrow on the map).

  • Alternatively, if you’re already on Main Street and see the Road Closure sign at Fred Varley Dr, turn left there and follow the detour to the Parkview Public School parking lot (orange arrow on the map).

This parking lot connects directly to our office parking lot through an open gate (photo below). For easiest navigation, enter “Parkview Public School” into your GPS.

After you pass through the gate, you’ll find parking spaces available on both your left and right.

Option 2 – From the South via Main Street Unionville

If you’re coming from Highway 7 along Main Street Unionville:

  • At the intersection of Main Street Unionville and Fred Varley Dr, you’ll see a Road Closure sign.

  • If traffic allows, you may still enter—keep to the left lane, follow the Parking signs, and enter our lot via a smaller side entrance (photo below).

If you’re unable to enter due to traffic or restrictions, follow Option 1 for an alternate route via Parkview Public School.

Option 3 – From the North via Carlton Rd

If you’re approaching from the north along Carlton Rd:

  • You will not be able to turn onto Main Street Unionville due to the closure.

  • Follow the detour signs and turn into the Public Parking Lot on the east side of Main Street.

This lot is large but often busy, especially on weekends. Once parked, you can walk across Main Street to our office.
