How to Access Parking During Main Street Unionville Road Closure

Option 1 – From the North via Carlton Rd (Recommended)

If you’re approaching from the north along Carlton Rd, there are now two routes available:

1. Recommended Route (blue on map):

   • Turn right onto Main Street Unionville from Carlton Rd

   • Continue past our office (178 Main Street Unionville) and the restaurant Watercolour next door. Just after Watercolour, you will see a driveway on the right— turn here to enter the parking area behind the buildings.

   • All parking spaces are available except the three reserved spots marked for Watercolour. This is the easiest and most direct route.

2. Alternative (green on map):

   • Drive along Carlton Rd, then turn right to enter the Public Parking Lot on the east side.

   • This lot is large but often busy, especially on weekends. Once parked, you can walk across Main Street to our office.

Option 2 – Via Parkview Public School (from the South-West)

If you’re coming toward Main Street Unionville from the south-west:

• Take Fred Varley Dr. Instead of turning directly onto Main Street Unionville, take the previous exit at Fonthill Blvd and drive through the parking lot at Parkview Public School (see green arrow on the map).

• Alternatively, if you’re already on Main Street and see the Road Closure sign at Fred Varley Dr, turn left there and follow the detour to the Parkview Public School parking lot (orange arrow on the map).

The school lot connects to our office lot through a gate:

• If the vehicle gate is open (see photo below), you can drive straight through.

• If it’s closed, you may park at the school and walk through the pedestrian gate into our lot.

For easiest navigation, enter “Parkview Public School” into your GPS.

After you pass through the gate, you’ll find parking spaces available on both your left and right.

Option 3 – From the South (Highway 7)

This route is currently closed to vehicle traffic. Please detour via Village Pkwy or Kennedy Rd (see map).

• After rerouting, for easiest navigation, enter “Carlton Rd & Main St Unionville” into your GPS. Then, follow Option 1 from this guide, summarized below:

• Once you arrive at this intersection, continue driving on Main Street Unionville past our office (178 Main Street Unionville) and the restaurant Watercolour next door. Just after Watercolour, you will see a driveway on the right— turn here to enter the parking area behind the buildings. All parking spaces are available except the three reserved spots marked for Watercolour.
